27. Quiz: Marks & Filters II

Assure you are starting with a clean sheet.

Move Profit to the Rows and Order Date to the Columns. Assure the Order Date is continuous.

Move Segment to the Color portion of the Marks table

Drill down in the Order Date to the monthly level.

Select the Color portion of the Marks table and try changing the colors for your visual.

Additionally, you can change the Opacity and Markers in your plot.

Move the Segment to the Size portion of the Marks table.

Change the Segment back to Color instead of Size.

Name this chart and create a new worksheet. I named mine LineChart1.

Check you are on a new, blank worksheet.

Move Profit to the Columns and Region and Sub-Category to the Rows.

Move Profit to Color in the Marks table.

Move Sub-Category into the Filters table and select OK.

In the drop down menu of Sub-Category in the Filters table select Show Filter.

Select the Sort bar in the top menu.

Select the menu on the Filter in the top right. Change your filter to Multiple Values (Drop Down).
